About Pear Lab Grown Diamonds

A pear, or teardrop, joins a rounded end to a single point and uses brilliant facets, so it sparkles much like a round while its longer outline makes the finger look slimmer. This search shows loose pear lab-grown diamonds only, each with an IGI or GIA grading report. Quality filters open on G color or better, VS2 clarity or better and an Excellent cut; widen any of them to see more. Use the length-to-width ratio under More filters to choose the outline you like, and open any diamond to see its photos and, where there is one, its 360° view. Each diamond is sourced for your order and arrives in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Pear Diamond Questions

What length-to-width ratio is best for a pear diamond?

Most people choose 1.50 to 1.70. A lower ratio gives a fuller, wider pear and a higher one a longer, slimmer teardrop; set the range under More filters.

Do pear diamonds have a bow tie?

Some do: a darker band across the widest part, caused by how light passes through the stone. A well-cut pear keeps it faint, so check the photos or 360° view, and look for even, rounded shoulders on both sides.

Can I set a loose pear diamond in an engagement ring?

Yes. Book a video or phone appointment and we will help you pair it with one of our settings. Loose diamonds are final sale, so we are glad to help you choose first.
