Elowen Pear Engagement Ring

The Elowen Pear is a solitaire engagement ring that sets a pear-shaped diamond east to west, held by compass prongs on a plain polished band. Turned on its side, the pear points across the finger instead of toward the fingertip.

Compass prongs sit at the stone's top, bottom and each end rather than around its curve, leaving most of the outline open. From the front, the shoulders rise straight up to a narrow setting, so the stone sits clear of the band.

A sideways pear is a less expected choice, and it reads wider on the hand than the same stone set point up. The Elowen also comes with an oval, emerald-cut or radiant-cut center, each set east to west.

The Elowen is made to order in our Chicago studio in 14k or 18k gold or platinum, with a lab-grown or natural center diamond from 1.0 to 4.5 carats and an IGI or GIA grading report.
