The Zinnia stud earrings set a square step-cut emerald inside a halo of small round diamonds, in 14k gold. Four corner prongs hold the emerald, and the diamond border follows its straight sides and clipped corners, so each earring reads as a crisp square of green framed in light.

They sit flat on the lobe and add a square of color beside plain gold pieces. Like the zinnia, the design is built from neat, even layers.
