One Point or Two
A marquise is a long, narrow brilliant that comes to a point at both ends, like a boat seen from above. A pear, or teardrop, joins a rounded end to a single point. Both use brilliant facets, so both sparkle, and both look larger face-up than a round of the same weight.
The marquise reads as bold and vintage; the pear as softer, with one graceful point.
