A single emerald-cut green stone, turned on its side, sits in a polished bezel at the center of the Esme 14k gold pendant necklace. The bezel has clipped corners to match the stone's eight-sided shape, and the fine cable chain joins it at both ends so it stays level.

Step-cut facets show the green in broad, flat planes of color rather than scattered sparkle. It rests just below the collarbone, where an open collar shows it well, and a lobster clasp closes the chain.
