Lumi Pear Engagement Ring

The Lumi Pear is a curved engagement ring with a pear-shaped diamond set sideways in the hollow of a sweeping polished band. Three prongs hold the stone, one of them at its point, and the band rises in an arc behind it.

The pear lies across the finger, its point following the curve of the band. Under the stone the band passes over itself, so the gold reads as a single continuous line around the hand.

It suits someone who wants a pear but not an upright classic solitaire. The Lumi also comes with an oval or marquise center.

The Lumi is made to order in our Chicago studio in 14k or 18k gold or platinum, with a lab-grown or natural center diamond from 1.0 to 4.5 carats and an IGI or GIA grading report.
