Frida Marquise Engagement Ring

The Frida Marquise is a bypass engagement ring: a marquise diamond inside an open gold frame, on angular shoulders that sweep off in opposite directions. Two curved rails follow the long sides of the stone, and small flat bars hold its points.

The frame protects the marquise's tips and edges while leaving the face of the stone fully open. The flat-sided shoulders give the band crisp edges that contrast with the curve of the frame.

The Frida also comes with an oval or pear-shaped center.

The Frida is made to order in our Chicago studio in 14k or 18k gold or platinum, with a lab-grown or natural center diamond from 1.0 to 4.5 carats and an IGI or GIA grading report.
