The Aurora Oval is a solitaire engagement ring with an oval diamond held in four slim claws on a wide, flat band with straight edges. The band's squared profile is the detail that sets it apart.
A broad flat band gives a large center stone a sturdy base and a tailored look, closer to a signet than a fine wire. The claws hold the oval near its ends, and from the side the stone sits in an open setting above the band.
The Aurora also comes with a radiant-cut or marquise center on the same band.
The Aurora is made to order in our Chicago studio in 14k or 18k gold or platinum, with a lab-grown or natural center diamond from 1.0 to 4.5 carats and an IGI or GIA grading report.
