Small round green stones run in a single row along the front of the Gladiolus hoops, slim and slightly oval in 14k gold. Shared prongs hold the stones close together, so the color reads as one unbroken line, while the back of each hoop is plain polished gold.

The single file of stones is a nod to the gladiolus, whose flowers open one above the next along a tall stem. Close to the lobe, the hoops give plain gold jewelry one stroke of green.
